I Dear Hunter sono una band americana che graffia i confini del progressive rock con influenze 60s, emo e indie rock. Nati dalla mente di Casey Crescenzo, già nei The Receiving End of Sirens, hanno iniziato la loro carriera con una serie di concept album basati sulla vita del “Dear Hunter” da cui hanno preso il nome. Il concept, però, si era interrotto qualche anno fa: era dal 2009, anno di uscita di Act III, che la band si era impegnata a produrre materiale distaccato dalla storia che aveva raccontato fino a quel momento (tra cui una serie di EP basata sullo spettro dei colori).
Adesso è il momento di ricominciare la storia: Act IV: Rebirth in Reprise uscirà il 4 settembre su Rude Records. Quella sopra è la copertina, mentre sotto trovate la tracklist. In fondo potete ascoltare il primo singolo estratto dall’album, Wait.
