Come era prevedibile, dopo la scomparsa improvvisa di Mark Lanegan, avvenuta il 22 febbraio per cause ancora sconosciute, moltissimi colleghi e amici l’hanno ricordato sui social, da Iggy Pop a John Cale, Greg Dulli, J Mascis e tanti altri. Ne abbiamo raccolti alcuni, e ci sono anche degli artisti e produttori italiani che hanno lavorato con lui, come Tommaso Colliva (produttore e membro dei Calibro 35), Rodrigo D’Erasmo (Afterhours) e Not Waving (aka Alessio Natalizia) che nel 2019 con Mark Lanegan sotto lo pseudonimo Dark Mark avevano pubblicato un disco collaborativo dal titolo Downweling.
