“Ho brutte notizie”: lo scrive su Twitter Ted Kessler, direttore di Q, annunciando che il prossimo numero della rivista, in uscita il 28 luglio, sarà l’ultimo. La crisi seguita alla pandemia ha portato alla decisione di interrompere la pubblicazione, spiega Kessler, che insieme al tweet pubblica il suo ultimo editoriale, in cui si scusa anche per non essere stato in grado di far sopravvivere il magazine:
Il mensile era stato fondato nel 1986 da Mark Ellen e David Hepworth, giornalisti e presentatori dello storico programma di musica della BBC The Old Grey Whistle Test.
I have some bad news about @QMagazine. The issue that comes out on July 28 will be our last. The pandemic did for us and there was nothing more to it than that. I have attached our final cover and my editor’s letter for context.
