Il trentesimo anno di carriera di Bob Dylan (1992), è stato festeggiato con concerto-tributo pieno di ospiti d’eccellenza, a Madison Square Garden. Lo show era stato trasmesso sulla televisione Pay-Per-View e poi erano stati messi in vendita dei CD e delle video-cassette. Ventidue anni dopo, The 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration riceve una ri-edizione deluxe su DVD/Blu-ray e anche CD (via Columbia Records/Legacy Recordings).
Sarà disponibile dal 4 marzo, e include performance di Neil Young, Lou Reed, Eric Clapton, The Band,Johnny Cash e June Carter Cash, Willie Nelson, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Eddie Vedder e Mike McCready, Stevie Wonder e anche quella che sarebbe stata l’ultima esibizione di George Harrison. Ogni esibizione è una cover di un classico di Bob Dylan, mentre Dylan stesso appare solo per qualche canzone, accompagnato da un ospite.
Sono anche inclusi un soundcheck inedito di Eric Clapton che canta Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright, e un documentario di 40 minuti con interviste e riprese dal back-stage più recenti.
