Fra i tanti ospiti del concerto speciale dei Pogues per i 40 anni di Red Roses For Me c’erano membri di Fontaines D.C. e Lankum
Nel 2025 i Pogues partiranno per il primo tour dopo la scomparsa di Shane MacGowan, avvenuta il 30 novembre 2023. Il tour sarà l’occasione per festeggiare i 40 anni del secondo album Rum, Sodomy & The Lash. Prima di questo, però, la band si è riunita per uno speciale concerto alla 3Arena di Dublino per celebrare un altro anniversario, il quarantesimo del debutto Red Roses for Me.
Per l’occasione, sul palco a suonare i classici del gruppo irlandese sono saliti molti ospiti, amici e fan della band, come Grian Chatten dei Fontaines D.C., Ian e Daragh Lynch dei Lankum, John Francis Flynn, Andrew Hendy & Séan McKenna dei Mary Wallopers, Brigid Mae Power, Nadine Shah e altri.
