Uno dei premi della musica inglese più importante dell’anno: i Brit Awards 2024 che potete seguire in diretta
La 44esima edizione dei Brit Awards 2024 si svolge all’Arena O2 di Londra alle 21 del 2 marzo, durante un weekend dopo il successo dell’edizione 2023. Come sempre è uno degli appuntamenti inglesi più attesi e vedrà sul palco tanti artisti e artiste esibirsi, oltre al rituale della consegna dei premi. Alla conduzione la dj di BBC Radio1 Clara Amfo, Maya Jama e Roman Kemp.
Qualche numero dei Brit Awards 2024
Ci sono almeno due grosse novità in ambito di nomination. La prima è legata al numero di artisti, artiste e band nominate per i premi Artista britannico dell’anno e Artista internazionale dell’anno: si passa da 5 a 10 nomination. La seconda è il giusto sdoppiamento della categoria British Pop/R&B Act in British Pop Act e British R&B Act. Sfruttando il pubblico social i vincitori di entrambe le categorie, così come delle altre tre categorie di genere (dance, rock/alternative e hip-hop/grime/rap), saranno decisi da un voto pubblico tramite Instagram.
Le nomination
L’artista che ha ricevuto più nomination è stata la cantante britannica Raye (7), seguita dai due rapper Central Cee e J Hus (4), seguiti da un folto gruppo formato con tre nomination: Calvin Harris, Dave, Dua Lipa, Little Simz, Olivia Dean e Young Fathers (3). Con due possibilità di vittoria, invece, troviamo Blur, Fred Again, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, PinkPantheress, SZA e Yussef Dayes (2). I vincitori dei premi Rising Stars, Songrwriter of the Year e Producer of the Year sono già stati annunciati: The Last Dinner Party, Raye e Chase and Status.
